COMPANIES TO CONSTRUCT THE 56” ONSHORE PART OF THE PIPELINE NAMED

Companies qualified for Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3 Pipeline Construction have been named following the final assessment on “56” Onshore Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 Pipeline Construction Tender” launched by TANAP Natural Gas Transmission Co. within the scope of the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP), which will deliver the natural gas resources from Azerbaijan’s Shah Deniz II field to Turkey and then to Europe via Turkey.

Three companies/partnerships signed contracts with TANAP Natural Gas Transmission Co.:

The tender process for the almost 1,850-km pipeline, which will cross Turkey from one end to the other, was initiated on April 22, 2014 with a call for tender issued to fifteen domestic and foreign companies. According to the results of the tender, contracted companies and partnerships that were pre-qualified for the construction of the 56” part of the pipeline extending from the Georgian border to Eskişehir for 1,337 kilometers are named as follows:

1. 56” Onshore Pipeline Construction Lot 1: FERNAS CONSTRUCTION INC.

Km 0 – Km 375: Ardahan/Posof/Türkgözü – Erzurum/Aşkale

2. 56” Onshore Pipeline Construction Lot 2: SİCİM-YÜKSEL-AKKORD ORDINARY PARTNERSHIP

Km 375 - Km 825: Erzurum/Aşkale – Sivas/Yıldızeli

3. 56” Onshore Pipeline Construction Lot 3: TEKFEN CONSTRUCTION and INSTALLATION CO. INC.

Km 825 - Km 1334: Sivas/Yıldızeli – Eskişehir/Seyitgazi
