Agreements
The legal basis of the Project is the “Intergovernmental Agreement concerning the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline System between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan” and the “Host Government Agreement” annex, signed in Istanbul on June 26, 2012. The Company has been officially established on December 24, 2012.
The Agreements were published in the Official Gazette on March 19, 2013 and thus entered into legal force on the same date. The Host Government Agreement was amended and signed on May 26, 2014, and was published in the Official Gazette on September 10, 2014, and thus entered into force.
